Why give through Rotary?
Your donation is amplified. The Rotary Foundation’s grants match local giving with district and global funds, multiplying every euro and pound.
Where does my gift go?
To the Annual Fund, PolioPlus, the Disaster Response Fund or the Endowment, or to District 1160 priorities: local club projects across Ireland.
Can I claim tax relief?
Republic of Ireland: gifts of €250 or more a year may qualify for the Charitable Donation Scheme (we’ll send a CHY form). Northern Ireland: UK taxpayers can add Gift Aid.
How to give
Give to The Rotary Foundation
Give online through My Rotary, once or every month, to the Annual Fund, PolioPlus, the Disaster Response Fund or the Endowment.
Give by bank transfer (€ or £)
Transfer in euro to our Bank of Ireland account, or in sterling to our Ulster Bank account. While the Nepal appeal is live, the details are on the appeal page.
Give through your club
Every club raises funds through the year, from duck races to Christmas hampers. Give at a club event, or ask your club’s treasurer about giving on the club’s behalf.
Help end polio for good
Rotary has worked to eradicate polio for more than 45 years, and World Polio Day fundraising is one of our district’s signature projects. Through Rotary, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation matches polio donations two to one, so every euro you give to PolioPlus becomes three.
