Public Image

How the world sees Rotary — and how we tell our story. The District 1160 Public Image hub: training, brand assets, the EPIC Award programme, and a direct line to the comms team.

Stronger Public Image, stronger Rotary

Every club in District 1160 is doing work worth talking about. When we share those stories well — with consistency, professionalism, and the right brand — communities engage, partners join, and members come through the door. That’s what Public Image is for.

Our approach

Let the work speak. We don’t tell people Rotary is amazing — we tell them what happened: how many people were helped, what was built, who showed up. The impact speaks for itself. Be consistent: we use Rotary’s brand guidelines so that when people see Rotary, they recognise it. Make it easy: we provide clubs with templates, training, and resources so every club can tell its story effectively.

Nine ways into the work

From the EPIC Award programme to the official Rotary Brand Centre — here’s where to start, whether you’re a brand new club PI Chair or a seasoned communicator looking for the next tool.
