The situation

Thousands of families are in holding centres without basics, and winter is closing in

Rescue and recovery operations are continuing and the scale of need remains immense. Many areas are still inaccessible by road. Government efforts are focused on rescue, so supplying emergency items is the gap, and it is precisely where Rotary's trusted local partners can move fast.

The Rotary Club of Chitwan, with Rotary District 3292 in Kathmandu, will support 200 of the most vulnerable families across three holding centres that other agencies have been unable to reach.
